Arizona
AZ is a one party state, ARS 13-3005.A(1)(2), AND also permits a telephone "subscriber" (the person who orders the phone service and whose name is on the bill) to tape (intercept) calls without being a party to the conversation and without requiring any notification to any parties to the call, ARS 13-3012(5)(c). I also seem to recall a case law decision from many years ago (the 1920's or the 1950's) that went to the Supreme Court andt affirmed that the federal law does not superceed state authority/statutes unless the call or the tap crosses state lines -- that is why each state went ahead and established their own guideline/statute.See also:
